I just wanted to in ensure that I let Miss Lorraine know how grateful I was to read and share her book. The book had so much compassion, it was so personal that words cannot explain, it's not your typical cookbook. It was all of hers and her friends who'd gotten together and took all their personal recipes and shared them with the world and for that I was so grateful to share my book with my new fiancé because he loves to cook.  Now we can enjoy life together doing what he loves doing.

After reading through page by page, I thought I’d tell you about a few of my favorite recipes. But there are to many. So here’s just two!

Pan Seared Salmon with Peach Reduction (pg. 103) and Chocolate Chip Pound Cake (pg. 117), but I tweeked it and used raisins, delicious.

I’ve got pages more to go!!!  Happy Cooking!!!

Mom,

That's wonderful, I'm happy for you. Glad you got it published. That's so exciting to have a book being published.

Proud of you Mom!

I'm totally loving my "For Two" cookbook!!! It's perfect for my lifestyle with the delicious and quick recipes. I'm in love with the size of the book,

It's great for my limited counter space. I like that there isn't a laundry list of ingredients for the recipes. I'm looking forward to making many

deeelish dishes from the book. I'm so, so, so, SO proud of my girl Lorraine for putting this book together for singles and couples.

Lorraine Brown’s cookbook entitled “For Two” delighted me from the moment I opened it! What took me by surprise was the heart and the character

that weaves its spell page after page.... I read the whole thing cover to cover the first time I peeked inside because I couldn’t put it down, a cookbook! These amazing recipes are delicious and the whole affect is like a cozy blanket on a rainy day with cherished friends and family in the next room....

It doesn’t overwhelm but isn’t overly simplistic either and lets the reader feel confident and excited each time a dish is prepared regardless of the

natural ability of the chef ( or in my case non chef)! It’s user friendly but can absolutely fill the need for any type of occasion . I especially like the

fact that there are just the right number of recipes offered, many choices without getting bogged down by an overwhelming array of options.

I love that this warm sweet soul shares a peek into her life at the end as she describes downsizing her home, I’m sure it will be valuable help to

many a reader and just solidifies the feeling that yes, this woman feels like home and one that I can call friend.... it’s the perfect gift for anyone

from college kid to empty nester to any number of various stages in life. Finally a cookbook that caters to a category of person that is usually

excluded from most cookbooks: those cooking for just themselves or themselves and one other.... Going to have a crowd? No problem! She tells

you how to handle that as well! I look forward to many years with this little treasure. This is an ideal stocking stuffer or under the tree gift.

Thank you to Lorraine Brown for feeding our souls and nourishing our bodies, and thanks to her participating friends and family members featured

in the book as well. Each time I put it away after a wonderful meal I get the feeling I’ve been enveloped in a warm embrace! And you just can’t

beat that when it’s paired with a happy and satisfied tummy! I can’t wait to see if there is a round two....!!

Perfect! That's how I would describe this cook book. Coming from a large family with a household of 7 people cooking and preparing

smaller portions has been a vice in my adult life while preparing meals for my husband and myself. For Two has provided wonderful recipes

with flavorful options just For Two! I've prepared the Collard Greens thus far, and I'm looking forward to trying many more of the recipes in

this wonderful book, For Two! P. S. It's been a great way to get my husband in the kitchen too, with his limited culinary skills, For Two has

given him confidence to cook, For Two! ;-)

P.S. go here on her website and order this amazing cookbook, you can thank me later.

I've never really seen a cookbook that caters for just two people. I think it's a great idea. I have tasted quite a few of Ms. Lorraine's recipes that are in the book and they are DELICIOUS. What I like most about the cookbook is it tells you how to cut your recipes in half and even thirds. That's great!

I ordered "For Two" last week. I am a very busy person so planning meals is usually the last thing on my list. This morning i made breakfast for my boys and used the Breakfast Sliders recipe. It was absolutely delicious!! I did not have swiss cheese so I substituted with cheddar and it was still out of this world. Her recipes are very easy and you can even substitute or tweak them to your liking as I did with the cheese. I highly recommend getting               "For Two" and cannot wait to try more recipes!! Thanks Lorraine!
